If you’re someone who’s currently addicted to something — whether it’s perceived as big or small, any addiction is an addiction — I promise you that by the end of this article, you’ll have practical methods you can apply to your life so that you can quit your addiction(s) for good!

Some background on my struggles with addiction

I was someone who was addicted to many things. I was addicted to food, cigarettes, weed, video games, partying, caffeine, fizzy drinks, ecstasy, and the worst of them all, porn.

I was someone who had zero control over my psyche; my life, my impulses, or my proclivities. I was a walking disaster.

I was weak-minded, I would eat incessant amounts of food, and I drank enormous doses of caffeine. I also had a serious porn addiction, I was doing drugs on a daily basis — smoking weed every day; drinking and taking class-A drugs like cocaine, Valium (benzodiazepines), ecstasy, and ketamine on the weekends.

I have an extreme personality — my addictions mirrored this
